Homemade WiFi 16dB Omnidirectional Antenna 2.4 Ghz
Currently I’m building this WiFi Omnidirectional 16dB antenna. It’s a lot of work but I’m hoping it will pay off.
This pictures are work in progress and I will post an update as I work throe it and schematics when its done.
UPDATE: The omni directional antenna is working great. I update the gallery so you can see the schematics and the test results on 3,5km .

Hy Fabio, unfortunately I don’t haw such instrument to measure power of the antenna but you can see my test results in the image (http://iw3b.info/427/tutorials/homemade-16db-omnidirectional-antenna/attachment/test-link-autoput/Image link). The brase tube is hard to find but mine was taken from old fills of TOZ penkala something like this one. I did find the original tubes on ebay but I didn’t order them and try to build the antenna with them. The diameter of the tube is 4mm .
